OH MY GOD I am soooooooooooooooooo tired of bieng pregnant!!! These last few weeks are killing me! I just want May to get here, when May gets here then atleast I'll be on my last month and I'll know it's on a 'any minute now' status instead saying next month. I just really really want my body back! I want to be able to hold my baby in my arms and kiss him and look at his beatiful face instead of feeling him kicking me in the ribs. I can't wait to be able to drink 5 glasses of wine and eat raw oysters and drink red bulls again!!!

Anyone else experiencing a change in fetal movement?
I'm trying not to worry too much, as I'm still experiencing the 'minimum' number of recommended movements per day, but I am a little concerned, I will admit.
I'm not feeling the same movement over the past few days. Baby seems a lot quieter, movements seeming a lot fainter (more like the flutters in earlier pregnancy) with no obvious sort of limbs, if you get what I mean? There doesn't seem to be any sort of pattern to baby's movements anymore, (i.e. more active at night, etc.) just random flutterings and not directed at any particular part of my bump.
I shall be at the midwife unit tomorrow evening for an antenatal class, so just wondered if anyone thought it was worth mentioning?
I'm 29+3 (but measuring around 32 weeks if that makes a difference)
X-posted to May and June community, sorry if you see it twice.

A little update
Everything is going smoothly, which I am so happy about. I am measuring a week ahead. That makes me a little nervous only because my son was 12 days early and this baby could come even earlier. Eek!!
My midwife and I also discussed placenta recipes. Ahhhh!! That is so exciting! Current Mood: bouncy

My name is Cara, and my fiance's name is Christopher.
We live in Auburn, Nebraska, and are expecting our first child.
He is a boy named Ronnie James, and my due date is May 17th.
I have a c-section scheduled on May 13th, which I am very nervous about. My doctor said my pelvis is too small to safely push a baby out so I will need to have the surgury. Other then that I am enjoying my pregnancy very much, and Im very excited for my son to arrive. 19 week appointment
Today my appointment with the midwife was my physical instead of mainly a medical history interview. I learned that my cervix is tipped low, to the point of practically unreachable. =oP
Thankfully, SPD has not returned this pregnancy. BeanBaby's heart rate measured 160. I was also referred for the midpoint ultrasound. It appears that Juliet, my five and a half year old, may come to observe as long as she has a support person to take her out if she gets squirrelly or uncomfortable. So, if she asks we will look for gender, if not we won't.
The ultrasound is next Wednesday morning. My next midwife appointment is in five weeks. Despite being prodded in places I do not like being prodded by just anyone, overall I enjoyed today's appointment.
Discussing names with DD
I'm trying to sort out some of the baby's things and got speaking about it with Daisy. She called the baby by it's girls name (DH hates it, but DD and I love it so that's what she calls it ). I said to her that Mummy's cousin is having a baby before Mummy and that she might be using that name () so if she does, we will use a new name for the baby.
"What other names do you like, Daisy?"
"That is a lovely name, but I don't think Daddy will like it very much."
"But Mummy and Daisy like it, so it's fine, Mummy!"
Two minutes later:
"Mummy, it's a baby pussycat, so we'll have to call it kitten!" *big proud smile*

Hi! I'm new!
Hello everybody. I meant to join this community a bit back but I forgot, doh.
Here's my little profile thingy:Your name:
May.Your partner's name:
Auckland, NZ.When is your due date?
May 14th :DIs this your first child?
No, I have a 5 year old daughter named Rahel and a 17 month old son named Vegas.Any other information you'd like to share?
As you can see by my icon, I'm not finding out the sex of the baby until it comes out of me lol.
First I wanted to find out but David didn't. We found out with Vegas so I had to make a deal that we wouldn't this time lol. Not that I believe the doctors anyway cos they told us Rahel was a boy o_O
I was supposed to have my week 20 ultrasound on the dawn of my 20th week, but since the first day of week 20 of my pregnancy is on Boxing Day lol, I'm having it done on the 27th instead.
I haven't felt the baby kick yet, but I'm hoping it's gonna be this week or next and I hope David is around to feel it when it happens :D
Also I am finding it hard to decide on middle names for the baby - we have decided on the name Shawn for a boy and the name Imara for a girl, but we can't decide on middle names lol. First we were gonna use our first names but I thought that was too cheesey XD
Man sorry I'm rambling but it's cool to chat to other people who are due in the same month as me! Current Mood: hot

May 23rd, 2008 (one day after hubby's B-day, we'll see how close it actually gets)Is this your first child?
YesAny other information you'd like to share?
I've been lurking here until I got around to doing my first ultrasound (making sure that it is actually a baby and all :) and figured out the expected due date. It looks like it is definitely in the May realm (13 weeks even, estimated by the techs today).

I got a couple new bras yesterday. I ended up getting measured at Lane Bryant, where they told me that I was a 34DDD bordering on F (on a D, DD, DDD, F scale). I ended up getting two 36DDD's, since they don't carry smaller ones.
My breasts haven't even grown that much. I know that it varies from woman to woman, but does anyone know if large breasted women gain the 2-3 cup sizes that smaller women seem to get? I'm not exactly looking forward to custom ordering 34G-H nursing bras. Current Mood: anxious

I'm due June 1st but technically my last two babies came a week early, so I figure I would join here as well as the June group.
This is my fourth pregnancy, but my third to parent. I'm opting out of a hospital birth this time around to go with the local birth center.
Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Hello all! My name is Liz and I'm pregnant! I'm 27 and this is my first. My husband and I have been married since February 10, 2006. We weren't trying - and the cost of daycare terrifies us - but we are excited and happy to be having a little one.
And while I'm sure it's bad form to complain in your first post, I have to get something off my chest. I'm due May 9 which makes me 10w 1d if I'm counting right. My first prenatal was Tuesday. I had to wait a little over a week to see someone. However, all they did was draw blood and do a urine test and get my medical history. I was told that I wouldn't have a physical exam until my second appt. When I called to make the appt. with the recommended OB, the receptionist kept mumbling, "her schedule is so tight." It took her about 15 minutes to find an open spot, and the first one she offered was Nov. 19! She ended up finding something on Nov. 5. While I know that I'm pregnant, my symptoms are mild *knock on wood* and I don't feel comfortable waiting until I'm in my second trimester for a physical exam. Besides calling all the OB's listed in my provider book and possibly annoying the hell out of a dozen or so receptionists, I don't know what to do. There's a birth center in town that I would love to go to, but I'm not sure what it would take to get my insurance to cover it (the birth center's site says that they've gotten compensation but that they are not a network provider). If it's just a matter of confirming that I'm low risk and registering with the hospital, then it'll be ok. If it's paying it all up front and waiting for my insurance to send me a check, that's not ok. GAH! I just want someone to look around and tell me that it's all ok. Why is that so hard?

Hello my name is Nicole and I am 22 years old , my husband is Jamie and he is 24. We just found out on Saturday that we are going to be parents. This was not planned, and right now we are under a lot of stress finaclly. I am out of a Job until Oct 22, and they hired me 3 days before I found out I was pregnant. I am a nanny so I am not sure how this is going to work with my new job. We got married on August 5,2006 so we are newlyweds and just starting our life. While this wasn't a planned pregnancy we are excited and can't wait to start the next phase in our life.
I hope to make some freinds here and give and get advice.
Good luck and Congrats to everyone else here!

I finally feel pregnant
The morning (all-day) sickness hit yesterday and appears to be full force again today. Now I remember why I stopped running the last time around. Blarghh! It's not so much that I'm puking, but that I feel like I might puke pretty much constantly.

Anyone feeling pregnant yet?
Has anyone been hit with the full-fledged effects of their first trimester yet? I'm having a hard time believing I'm pregnant -- my boobs don't even hurt anymore (they did for about a minute last week...). Not that I want
to feel sick, I guess. Just to feel more pregnant than I do. I'm prone to worrying, especially because a good friend of mine miscarried last week.
